Words cannot express how much my heart hurts for you and the terror you have been through. The truth is, I don’t know how to write this letter or what to say, only that is must be written for there are unspoken words you need to hear.
This month, I finally tackled a topic I never thought I would be able to write about: sexual assault. In my research I found 1 in 5 women have been sexually assaulted. 1 IN 5. I’ve spent time this month reflecting on my college experience, reading essays by victims and grieving for the horror that so many women have lived through. The result is this:
